Should Kasab’s death be celebrated?

Today after a long trial Kasab was finally hanged. Kasab was the only terrorist who was captured alive by India responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. I personally think it was a fair trial and he got what he deserved.

But I find people celebrating his death on social media so much so that some of their words frighten me. Do not get me wrong here. I do not have any sympathy for Kasab. But the elation of any person’s death makes us juvenile and small. It represents a very dark side of us that is against human nature.

The death of Kasab should induce a reflection among us rather than a silly celebration. Do you remember he was just a small pawn in the overall terror organization? We should reflect now on how we can plan to deal with terrorism in a better way. The need of the hour is to become a stronger Indian community so that we can defeat any further attack on our freedom.

  1. that’s sad. he shouldn’t have been dead(this kind of ‘dead’ reminds me of a mouse being drowned to death after invading a house(that’s sad)) not that I support his case or anything, but all individuals have right to live and ponder about their deeds, sad indeed! such joys are useless, if its being over somebody’s sadness. he should have been given a chance to live and before that a psychiatric treatment, so that he doesn’t harm anybody again.
